Log in and add funds to your account
Betting at mela starts by logging into your account. Go to the mela Login page, enter your username and password, and your dashboard will open. The first thing to do after logging in is check your balance — if there is no balance, you will need to make a deposit.
To deposit, select the "Deposit" option from your dashboard. mela accepts five payment methods: bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay and bank transfer (major Bangladeshi banks including Dutch-Bangla and BRAC Bank). The minimum deposit amount is ৳100.
Once deposited, the amount will appear in your balance immediately and you will be ready to bet on any market. Never bet more than the amount you have deposited — this is the first rule of healthy betting.
Find markets and learn to read odds
After logging in, go to the Sports or Casino section to find various markets. Each market shows the event name, date and odds. Odds are displayed in three formats — Decimal, Fractional and American.

Example: Team A's winning odds of 2.50 (Decimal) = 3/2 (Fractional) = +150 (American). If you place a ৳200 bet and Team A wins, the total return is ৳500 — that is ৳300 profit plus ৳200 stake back; if they lose, the full ৳200 is gone. Favourites have lower odds — for example, if Team B's odds are 1.50, a ৳200 bet returns ৳300 (৳100 profit). The teams are examples only — these are not live odds or a guarantee of winning.
Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on any outcome automatically adds it to the bet slip. The slip usually floats on the right side or bottom of the screen.
Single Bet: Keep one selection in the slip and enter your stake. The return will be shown instantly. Example: In a cricket match, Team A is at 2.10 odds and Team B at 1.75 — if you place a ৳500 bet on Team B and they win, the total return is ৳875 (৳375 profit); if Team A wins, you lose ৳500.
Multi Bet: Add multiple selections together. All odds are multiplied to create a combined odds figure. Example: Three selections with odds of 1.50, 1.60 and 1.90 — combined odds are 1.50 × 1.60 × 1.90 = 4.56 (approximately); a ৳100 bet returns ৳456 — but only if all three selections are correct. If even one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
Once everything looks correct on the slip, press the "Confirm Bet" button. Check the stake and potential return one more time before confirming.

Live Betting

Betting Exchange
On the exchange you can bet from both sides — BACK (a team will win) or LAY (a team will lose). Example: If you BACK Team A with ৳500 and they win, you make ৳500 profit (before commission); if they do not win, you lose ৳500.

Placing a bet is not the end — knowing the result and keeping track of your figures is equally important. The "Bet History" section of the mela dashboard has two parts:
- Open Bets: Bets whose results have not yet been decided — the match or game is still in progress or has not started. Here you can see the bet details, stake and potential return.
- Settled Bets: Bets for which a result has been declared. The return from winning bets is added to your balance and the stake from losing bets is deducted.
- Filter: You can filter your history by date, sport type or bet amount to find a specific bet easily.
- Performance Review: Checking your history regularly helps you understand which types of bets you are spending the most time on and how much of your budget is being used.
Set a budget and play within your limits
Betting is a form of entertainment — not a source of income. Before you start playing at mela, set a fixed monthly or weekly budget that you can afford to lose without financial strain. Never deposit more than this amount.
